As part of its commitment to improving education in the most vulnerable areas of Callao, Cáritas Callao has launched the “Impulsando Mi Futuro” program, an initiative aimed at training teachers from public schools selected within the diocese. This project is supported by volunteer educators from ESAN and TCS Empowers, who will share their knowledge and expertise with participating teachers.
A Joint Effort to Strengthen Education
The inauguration event brought together representatives from Cáritas Callao, ESAN, and TCS Empowers, who outlined their institutions’ objectives within the project and how they are working together from the education sector to make a significant impact on teacher training.
During the presentation, the speakers emphasized the importance of teacher training as a fundamental pillar for educational development. The program will provide tools and pedagogical strategies to strengthen classroom teaching, especially in a context where education faces great challenges.
